Step-by-step explanation:

a) h² = p² + b²

perpendicular = 16cm and base = 30cm

therefore

h² = 16² + 30²

h² = 256 + 900

h =

 \sqrt{ 1156}

therefore

h = 34 cm..

b) perimeter = h+b+p

= 16 + 30 + 36 cm

= 82cm

c) area = 1/2 × b × h

= 1/2 × 16 × 30 cm²

= 8 × 30 cm²

=240 cm²
