 \bf \huge \color{yellow}Given

  • The Legs of stool make An angle of 35° with the floor.

 \bf \huge \color{yellow}Find

  • The Angles x and y.

 \huge \bf \color{yellow}Solution

Let the angle made by stool with the floor is A = 35°.

AS WE KNOW THAT ,

Interior angles between two parallel lines is equal.

So that ,

∠ A = ∠ X...(Alternate interior angle)

therefore, ∠x = 35°

∠y + ∠A = 180°..(Co-interior angle)

∠y = 180° - 35° = 145°

therefore, ∠y = 145°

 \bf \huge \color{yellow}Final \: Ans

∠x = 35° and ∠y = 145°

Given :-

The Legs of stool make An angle of 35° with the floor.

To find:-

The Angles x and y.

\huge \bf \color{red}Solution

Let the angle made by stool with the floor is A = 35°.

AS WE KNOW THAT ,

Interior angles between two parallel lines is equal.

So that ,

∠ A = ∠ X...(Alternate interior angle)

therefore, ∠x = 35°

∠y + ∠A = 180°..(Co-interior angle)

∠y = 180° - 35° = 145°

therefore, ∠y = 145°

Ans:-

∠x = 35° and ∠y = 145°
