The lenghts of three sides of triangles ABC are 6cm, 4cm,and 9cm.Triangles DEF is similar to triangle ABC .the lenght of one of the sides of triangle DEF is 36 cm what is the greatest perimeter possible for triangle DEF?

54+36+81=171cm. This is by taking 4cm side similar to the 36cm one.

AB=6cm,BC=4cm, CA=9cm
perimeter of ABC =6+4+9=19cm
and In triangle DEF
DE=36 cm
let perimeter =P

given triangle ABC similar to triangle DEF
ratio of corresponding perimeters = ratio of corresponding sides

19/P=6/36
19/p=1/6
p/19=6/1
p=6×19
P=114 cm
therefore greatest perimeter possible is 114cm
