The length and breadth of a field are 450 metres and 250 metres respectively. A boundary wall is to be built round the field. One metre length of the wall requires 200 bricks. How many bricks should be purchased for this purpose?

breath of the field = 250m

We have a built a wall around the field  then we have to find the perimeter of  the field

PERIMETER OF THE WALL =2(L+B)

=2(450+250)

=2*700

=1400m

1m wall requires =200 bricks

1400m wall requires =1400*200bricks

=280000bricks

So 280000 bricks should be purchased to built a wall around the field
