Answer:

Length:breadth=7:5

Let the length and breadth be x,

By the problem,

2×(7x+5x)=168m

=2×12x=168m

=24x=168m

x=168/24

x=7

Therefore,

Length=7×7=49m

Breadth=7×5=35m

Area of the field=49m×35m

=1715m²

Cost of cultivating the field per sq. meter=Rs.4.75

Area of the field=1715m²

Total cost of cultivating the field at a rate of Rs.4.75 per square meter=1715×4.75

=Rs.8146.25

HOPE IT HELPS ✌️✌️✌️.

Ratio of length and breadth = 7:5

Perimeter = 168m

Cost of cultivating per square meter = Rs. 4.75 per square meter

1)) Area of the field.

2)) Cost of cultivating the field.

We know that the formula of the perimeter of a rectangle is

2( length + breadth)

So let the length(l) be 7x and breadth(b) be 5x.

The perimeter is 168m.

ATQ,

2(length + breadth) = 168

 =  &gt; 2(7x + 5x) = 168

 =  &gt; 2(12x) = 168

 =  &gt; 24 = 168

 =  &gt; x =  \frac{168}{24}

 therefore \: x = 7

So the length is 7x = 7 × 7 = 49m

The breadth is 5x = 5 × 7 = 35m

Now as we have found the length and breadth of the rectangle we can calculate the area by using the formula.

Formula of area of rectangle = l × b

So,

area = l \times b

 =  &gt; 49 \times 35

therefore \: area \: is \: </strong><strong>1</strong><strong>7</strong><strong>1</strong><strong>5</strong><strong> \:  {m}^{2}

So, now it is given that the cost of cultivating the field per square meter is Rs. 4.75

so \: the \: cost \: of \: cultivating  \\ \: the \: field \:   of \: area \: </strong><strong>1</strong><strong>7</strong><strong>1</strong><strong>5</strong><strong>\:  {m}^{2} </strong><strong>\</strong><strong>:</strong><strong>is \:  \\ 4.75 \times </strong><strong>1</strong><strong>7</strong><strong>1</strong><strong>5</strong><strong>= </strong><strong>8</strong><strong>1</strong><strong>4</strong><strong>6</strong><strong>.</strong><strong>2</strong><strong>5

So the cost of cultivating the field is Rs. 8146.25.

Length = 49 m

Breadth = 35 m

Area = 1610 \bold{m}^{2}
