the length and breadth of a playground are 60 M and 40m. Anil takes 4 rounds of the playground. what is the distance Anil travelled ?also find the cost of travelling the playground. if the cost of travelling is 5 rupees per square metre.

Here's your answer......


Length = 60 M

Breadth = 40 M

Perimeter of the playground = 2 ( l + b )

=> 2 ( 60 +40 )

=> 2 ( 100 )

= 200 m


Anil takes 4 round it means he travelled 4 * 200 = 800 m


If the cost of travelling is ₹ 5  then,

Area = l * b

60*40 = 2400 m


So, 5*2400= ₹12000
