l=35m

b=16m

hence,

area=l×b

=35×16

=560m²

so, the cost of fencing is 560×7

=3920 rupees

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Answer :-}}}}

The cost of Fencing is Rs. 714.

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Explanation :-}}}}

Given :

Length of the Rectangle = 35 m

Breadth of the Rectangle = 16 m

Rate of Fencing = Rs. 7 per meter

To find :

The Cost of Fencing

Solution :

To get the cost of Fencing, We need to find the Perimeter of the Rectangle.

We know that :

Perimeter = \tt{2(length + breadth)}

\tt{\implies} \: 2(35 + 16) \\ \tt{\implies} \:70 + 32 \\ \tt{\implies} \:102

Perimeter of Rectangle = 102 m

Cost of Fencing =

\tt{\implies} \:102 \times 7 \\ \tt{\implies} \:714

\therefore The cost of Fencing is Rs. 714.
