Breadth is 2x

3x*2x=3456

=)6x^2=3456

=)x^2=3456/6

=)x=√576

=)x=24 m

Length= 72m

Breadth= 48m

Perimeter=2(L+B)

=2(72+48)

=2(120)

=240m

Cost of fencing= 240×3.50 =Rs 840

Ans: Rs 840
