if we draw any one diagonal then the diagonal divide the rectangle into two right angle triangle

Let the length of diagonal be x cm

then,

By Pythagoras theorem

x^2 = (12)^2+(5)^2

x^2 = 144+25

x^2 = 169

x = 13

Hence,

Rectangle both diagonal are equal and each diagonal equal to 13 cm
