the length and breadth of a rectangle are in a ratio 3:2. If the area is 216sq m , find the length and breadth of the rectangle and also find the perimeter​

3x x 2x = 216 sq m

6x = 216

X = 216/6

= 36

3x = 3 x 36 = 108

2x = 2 x 36 = 72

Perimeter= 2 (l+b)

= 2 (108 + 72)

= 2 x 180

= 360

heya mate here is your answer...

let length be 3x

and breadth be 2x

area = l *b

216 = 3x*2x

216 = 6x

216÷6= x

36=x

so,

length = 108m

breadth=72m

perimeter ,

2(l+b)

2(108+72)

2(180)

360m
