Correct Question:-

  • the length and breadth of a rectangle field are in the ratio 3:2 if the perimeter of the field is 250 m. Find the cost of reaping the field at 15 per 50m.

Given:-

  • Ratio of length and breadth is 3:2
  • Perimeter of rectangle is 250m.

To find:-:-

  • Cost of reaping at the cost of Rs.15 per 50 m.

Let the sides be 3x and 2x.

 \boxed{ \pink{ \mathfrak{ \underline{Perimeter \:  of \:  rectangle :  -  \: 2(length \times breadth)}}}}

 \sf \: 2(3x + 2x) = 250 {m}^{2}

 \sf \: 5x =  \frac{250}{2}

 \sf \: 5x = 125

 \sf \: x =  \frac{125}{5}  = 25

Now substituting the values we will get the value of length and breadth:-

  • Length= 3x=3×25=75m
  • Breadth = 2x = 2×25 =50m.

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

 = 75m \times 50 {m}

 = 3750 {m}^{2}

Cost of reaping= Rs.15 m.

 \frac{3750}{50}  \times 15

 =  rs. \: 1125
