Given that the ratio of length and breadth of a rectangular field is 9:5.

Let the length = 9x and breadth = 5x.     ----- (1)

Given that Area of the field is 14580 sq.m.

9x * 5x = 14580

45x^2 = 14580

x^2 = 324

x = 18 m.

Substitute x = 18 in (1), We get

Length = 9 * 18 = 162m.

Breadth = 5 * 18 = 90m.

We know that perimeter = 2(l + b)

                                          = 2(162 + 90)

                                          = 504 m.

Given that the cost of surrounding per meter is 3.25.

Then the cost of Surrounding the field = 3.25 * 504

                                                                 = 1638 m^2.

Hope this helps!

Heya,

Given:
Radio of the length and breadth= 9:5
Area = 14580m^2
Rate of surrounding the field = Rs.3.25/m
So,
Let's assume:-
Length = 9x
Breadth = 5x

Area = l×b

14580 = 9x × 5x

14580 = 45x^2

14580/45 = x^2

2916/9 = x^2

324 = x^2

18 = x

[Substitute the given value in the radio 9:5]

Length = 9x = 9×18 = 162m
Breadth = 5x = 5×18 = 90m

Perimeter = 2 (l + b)

Perimeter = 2 (162 + 90)

Perimeter = 2 (252)

Perimeter = 504m

Cost of surrounding the field = Perimeter of the field × Rate of surrounding the field

Cost of surrounding the field = 504 × 3.25

Cost of surrounding the field = Rs.1638

Therefore,
Cost of surrounding the field is Rs.1638

Hope my answer helps you :)
