Step-by-step explanation:

Given : -

Ratio of length and breadth of rectangle = 4 : 3

Then ,

Cost of fencing per meter = Rs. 40

Total cost of fencing = Rs. 4488

Then , total length or perimeter to be

fenced = 4488 / 40 = 112.2 m

Now ,

Perimeter of rectangle enced ,

==> 2 ( 4x + 3x ) = 112.2

==> 2 ( 7x ) = 112.2

==> 7x = 56.1

==> x = 8.01m ( approx )

Hence ,

Length of rectangle = 4x = 4 × 8.01 = 32.04 m

and , breadth = 3x = 3 × 8.01 = 24.03 m .
