Answer:

let the length and breadth be 3x and 2x

Perimeter= 250m

P = 2( l + b )

250 = 2( 3x + 2x )

250/2 = 5x

125 = 5x

x = 125/5

x = 25m

3x = 25×3 = 75m

2x = 25×2 = 50m

cost of reaping = ( l×b )

= ( 75 × 50 )

= 3750m2

cost of reaping = ₹15 × 3750

= ₹56250

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the length of a field be =3x

Let the breadth of a field be =2x

Given, perimeter =250m

Perimeter =2 x (length + breadth)

250 = 2 x (3x+2x)

250 = 2 x 5x

250 = 10x

250/10 = x

25 = x

So, length = 3 x 25 = 75m

So, breadth = 2 x 25 = 50m

So, Area = 50 x 75

= 3750 m sq.

Cost of reaping the field::

3750/50 = 75

75 x 15 = 1125 rupees
