Then,


3:2=3x:2x


AREA OF THE RECTANGLE =LENGTH ×BREDTH.
3456sq.m=(3x) (2x)
6x2=3456
x=24
length,l =3x=72m
breadth,b=2x=48m
perimeter = 240m
​cost of fencing the rectangular field = Rs.14400

BREADTH = 24 × 2

⇒   48m

PERIMETER = 2 × ( l + b )

                = 2 × ( 72 + 48 )

COST OF FENCING = Rs 4/m
