Area of rectangle = length × breadth

= 96m × 74m

= 7104m

Therefore the total area = 7104m

Now, the area of path :

area of path = length × wide

The path is 4m wide

let the path & length be x

Therfore :

x = 4m × x

x + x = 4m

2x = 4m

x = 4/2

x = 2

Area of path = 2m
