Since it is rectangular so two tringles are made while drawingthe diagonal hence we can use pythogoras theorem.

AB= 50 m
AC = 30 m

using pythogoras theorem
BC= root under ( 50)square + 30 square
= root under 2500 + 900
= Root under 3400
= 59.3095 Metre

Saanchi14: 58.31 is the ryt ans.
Saanchi14: ur method is vry easy to understand bt the ans isnt correct

AB=30 M
AD=50 M
diagnol=BD
 with pythagoras theorem,
AB square + AD square = BD square
(30*30) + (50 * 50)= (BD)square
900+2500= BD square
3400 = BD square
BD=root 3400
BD=58.3095
up to two decimals,
BD=58.31

hope it helps!!!!
