let length and breadth of rectangular park be 5x m and 3x m respectively
perimeter of the park=2(5x+3x)
128=2*8x
x=8
Length= 5x=5*8=40
Breadth=3x=3*8=24
40*24=960 m2
960 m2 is the answer

Heya!

Here's Your Answer

Length=5x
Breath=3x

Perimeter is given i.e 128 m/cm ( you haven't mentioned it in question)

Perimeter= 2(l+b)
128m/cm= 2*(5x+3x)
128m/cm=2*8x
128m/cm/16=x
8 = x

Length= 5x=5*8=40m/cm
Breath =3x=3*8=24cm/m

Area = l*b
Area = 40*24
Therefore, 960 m sq. or cm sq.

Hope It Helps.....!!!! :-)
