 let 9x and 5x be length and bredth 
2(14x)=280
28x=280
x=10 
length = 90m

area= l*b
         90*50

Define x:

length : breath = 9 : 5

Let x be the constant ratio

length : breath = 9x : 5x

Solve x:

Perimeter = 2(Length + breadth)

280 = 2( 9x + 5x)

280 = 2(14x)

280 = 28x

x = 10

Find the length and breadth:

Length = 9x = 9(10) = 90m

Breadth = 5x = 5(10) = 50m

Find the area:

Area = Length x Breath

Area = 90 x 50 = 4500 m²
