The length and breadth of a rectangular price of land are in the ratio of 5: 3 . If the total cost of fencing it at Rs 24 per meter is Rs 9600, find its length and breadth .

▶ Given:

→ Length and Breadth of Rectangle price of land in the Ratio = 5 : 3

→ Total Cost price of fencing the Rectangular Price of land = 9600

→ Total rate of fencing = 24 per metres

\bold{Method Of Solution:-}

▶ According to the Question's Statement!

→ Perimeter of field = Cost /Rate

Perimeter of field = 9,600 / 24 metres

→ perimeter of field = 400 metres

▶ Here, Let the length of Rectangle and Breadth of Rectangle be x

Now, \fbox{\bold{Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(L+b)}}

✒ 2(5x+3x)

✒ 2(8x)

✒ 16x

Now, Perimeter of Rectangular field = 400

✒ 16x = 400

✒ x = 400/16

✒ x = 25

Thus , Length of Rectangle = 5x ✒ 5(25) = 125

Breadth of rectangle = 3x ✒3(25) = 75

▶ Hence, Required length and breadth are 125 metres and 75 metres respectively.▶

Given: Length = 5x

Breadth = 3x

So, Perimeter = 2(5x+3x)

= 2(8x)
= 16x

ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION?

16x = 400

x = 400/16

X= 25

So, Length = 5(25) = 125

Breadth = 3(25) = 75
