The length and breadth of rectangle are in the ratio 2.3 if perimeter of the rectangle is 90 cm then find the length and breadth of rectangle

If length and breath are in the ratio 2:3

then it can be said in this way that when length is 2a then breath is 3a , where is a variable

perimeter = 2(x+y)

so, 90 = 2×5a

a = 9

length = 2a = 2× 9 = 18 cm

breath = 3a = 3 ×9 = 27 cm
