  • Breadth of the rectangle is 7cm.

To Find:-

  • Find the length of the rectangle.

Concept:-

  • Let's go through the concept first. Form an equation firstly and substitute the given values by taking the unknown numbers and solve it.

Solution:-

Let the length be 3x and breadth be x.

Breadth of the rectangle = 7

x = 7cm

Length = ??

According to the question we have!

⟹ x = 7

Substitute the value of x to derive the length

⟹ 3x

⟹ 3 × 7 = 21
