total cost = 2800 ..

perimeter  of that field = total cost/ cost per metre = 2800/7 = 400m

we know that length and breadth are in the ratio of 5:3

length be 5x and breadth be 3x..

perimeter = 2(l+b) = 2(5x + 3x) = 2(8x) = 16x

16x = 400m

x= 400m/16 = 25m

length = 5x= 5(25m)= 125m

breadth = 3x = 3(25m) = 75m

area = l*b = 125m * 75m = 9375m^2
