Step-by-step explanation:

By proportional value = x

length= 8x

breadth= 5x

perimeter = 234

234 =2×(l+b)

234 = 2×( 8x+ 5x)

234= 2× ( 13x)

234/2=13x

117 =13x

117/ 13 =x

9 = x

length = 8×9 = 72

breadth = 5× 9= 45

(i)area of rectangle = l×b

= 72 × 45

= 3240 cm^2

(ii) cost= 3240×1600/100

= 51840

Answer:

Here is your answer

Step-by-step explanation:

By proportional value = x

length= 8x

breadth= 5x

perimeter = 234

234 =2×(l+b)

234 = 2×( 8x+ 5x)

234= 2× ( 13x)

234/2=13x

117 =13x

117/ 13 =x

9 = x

length = 8×9 = 72

breadth = 5× 9= 45

(i)area of rectangle = l×b

= 72 × 45

= 3240 cm^2

(ii) cost= 3240×1600/100

= 51840
