the length and the breadth of a hall 22 m and 18 m respectively if the total area of the floor and the ceiling is equal to the total area of the four wall find the height of the the hall (answer is coming in book 9.9m)​

Let height be x meter

Area of the floor= l×b = 22×18= 396 sqm

Area of the flat roof = l×b =396 sqm

Sum of Area of the four walls= 22x+ 22x+ 18x+18x= 80xsqm

Given sum of the area of floor and area of flat roof = sum of the four walls

80x = 396+396

80x=792

X=9.9

Height= 9.9m

Volume=l×b×h

=22×18×9.9

=3920.4 cubic meters
