  • The Breadth of the Rectangular Filed = 255 m

To Find,

  • The length of wire required to fencing .

SOLUTION :

The following information is given..

The length and the breadth of a rectangular field is 480 m and 255 m respectively.

We know that the perimeter of a rectangular field is 2 { L + B }

So, perimeter = 2 { 480 + 225 } m = 1410 m.

Now, the rate of fencing is Rs. 7 per metre.

So,

Cost of Fencing = Perimeter × Rate

=> Cost = Rs. 1410 × 7

=> Cost = Rs. 9870

Answer :

The cost of Fencing is Rs. 9870
