the length and the breadth of a rectangular paper are 35cm and 22cm. find the Area of the largest circle which can be cut out of this paper

the largest circle that can be cuted out from the sheet will be having diameter of 35 cm then after the area of circle will be π(35/2)^2which is 962.11 cm sq.

Given :

Length = 35 cm

Breadth = 22 cm

Largest possible diametre = 22 cm



FINDING RADIUS -

Radius = diametre ÷ 2

Radius = 22 ÷ 2

Radius = 11 cm .



FINDING AREA OF THE CIRCLE -

Area = \pi {r}^{2}

Area = 3.14 {(11)}^{2}

Area = 3.14 \times 121 {cm}^{2}

Area = 379.94 = 380 \: {cm}^{2}



Answer : The largest Circle is 380 cm^2.
