Answer:
let length= 3x
breadth=5x
perimeter=2(l+b)= 48cm
⇒ 2(l+b)=48cm
2(3x+5x)=48cm
6x + 10x = 48cm
16x=48cm
x= 48/16 =3
length=3x=3*3= 9cm
breadth=5x=5*3= 15cm
hope it helps

Given:-
- The length and width of rectangle is in the ratio of 3:5.
- The Perimeter if rectangle is 48cm
To Find:-
- The Length and width.
Formulae Used:-
- Perimeter = 2(L + B).
Now,
Let the ratio be "x".
Length of Rectangle = 3x
Breadth of Rectangle = 5x
Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(L + B).
48 = 2(3x + 5x)
48 = 16x
x = 48/16
x = 3.
Putting the value of "x" .
Length of the Rectangle = 3x = 9cm
Breadth of Rectangle = 5x = 15cm.
SOME MORE FORMULAES:-
- Area of Rectangle = L × B
- Area of Square = Side × Side
- Perimeter of Square = 4 × Side
- Area of Rhombus = Product of Diagonal/2
