The length, breadth and height of a cuboidal room are 10m, 8m and 6m respectively.. Find

the total cost of white washing all the four walls of the room if the cost of white washing is ₹10

per metre square.

Length of the cuboidal room = 10 m

Breadth of the Cuboidal room = 8 m

Height of the Cuboidal Room = 6 m

Here, we need to find the Lateral Surface Area of the Room, as only the 4 walls of the room are being white washed.

LSA of Cuboidal Room = 2 × h ( l + b )

= 2 × 6 ( 10 + 8 )

= 12 × 18

= 216

Cost of White Washing = LSA × Rate per metre²

= 216 × 10

= 2160

Cost of White Washing the Cuboidal Room = 2160
