Firstly we will have to find the LSA of the room

∴LSA = 2h(l+b)

           = [2×3(5+4)] m²

           = 54 m²

∵ the ceiling will also be white-washed

∴ total area to be white-washed = LSA + area of the ceiling

                                                    = 54 m² + (5×4) m²

                                                    = 54 m² + 20 m² = 74 m²

Now the rate is :- Rs. 7. 50 /m²

∴ Cost = Rs. (74×7.50) = Rs. 555
