TSA of room = 2(lb + bh + hl)
Area of Floor = lb
So, we would find the area to be painted by:-
= TSA of room - Area of Floor
So, the area to be painted would be:-
= 2 (lb + bh +hl) - lb
= 2 [ (5)(4) + (4)(3) + (3)(5) ] - (5)(4)
= 2 (20 + 12 + 15) - 20
= 2(47) - 20
= 94 - 20
= 74 cm²
The rate of white washing per m² is ₹7.50
So, the cost for white washing 74m² would be:-
= 7.50 x 74
= ₹555
So, the cost would be ₹555 !

Then, total cost = 7.50 × 74
