Explanation:

Volume is Length x Breadth x Height.

Length is 30cm, breadth measurement has been left out and volume is 9,000 cu.cm.

9,000cm. / 30cm = 900 / 3 = 300cm.

sqrt. 300cm = 17.321cm = breadth x height.

Let Breadth = 15cm. 300cm. / 15 = 20cm = Height.

Check: L. 30cm x B. 15cm = 450 sq.cm. x H. 20cm. = 9,000 cu.cm.

Answer. Breadth is 15cm and Height is 20cm.

The height of the brick is 15cms.

Given,

Length of brick = 30cm

Breadth = 20cm

Volume= 9000cm^3

To Find,

Height of the brick =?

Solution,

Since the length and breadth of the brick are not equal, the given brick is a cuboid.

Therefore, Volume = length x breadth x height

Substituting the given values,

9000= 30 x 20 x height

Height= 9000/ 30x20

= 9000/ 600

= 15

Therefore, the height of the brick is 15cms.
