Height = 3m

Volume = Area* height
Volume = 180* 3 = 540
Volume = 540cubic meter

Let the length, breadth and height of the cold storage be l metres, b metres and h metres respectively.

  • l = 2b (given)
  • h = 3 metres.

Now, Area of four walls = 180 m²

→ 2 (l + b) h = 180

→ 2 (2b + b) × 3 = 180

→ 18b = 180

→ b = 180/18

→ b = 10

→ l = 2b

→ l = 20

» Volume of the cold storage = (lbh) m³

→ (20 × 10 × 3) m³

→ 600 m³

Hence,

The Volume of the cold storage will be 600 m³.
