the length of a cuboid is double its breadth and the length is 3m. The LSA of the cuboid is 108m^2. find its volume

  • VOLUME

SOLUTION:

given that

LSA of cuboid = 108m²

2 ( l+b)h. = 108

2 ( 3 +1.5 ) h. = 108

2(4.5) h. = 108

(9) h. = 108

h. = 108 /9

h. = 12m

volume of cuboid = l× b× h

= (3)(1.5)(12)

= 54 m³

hence ,

HEIGHT = 12m

VOLUME= 54m³
