First we will convert 4m 44cm and 3m 30 cm into cm
we know,
1 m = 100cm
so,
4m 44cm = 4 × 100cm + 44cm = 444cm
3m 30cm = 3 × 100cm + 30cm = 330cm
The length of the floor = 444cm
The Breadth of the floor = 330cm
we have to find the H.C.F of 444cm & 330cm
444cm = 2×2×3×37
330cm = 2×3×5×11
H.C.F of (444cm & 330cm) = 2×3 = 6cm
Ans= The maximum length of square tiles that can completely cover the floor is 6cm
