The length of a godown is double its breadth. Its height is 5m. It has one
window of size 1.5m x 1m and one door of size 3m x 1m. The area of four
walls (including door and window) is 240m2
i) Find the breadth of the room
ii) If the godown is white-washed from the inside (except the floor, window and
door) at the rate of Rs. 35/m2

, then find the cost of white-washing.
iii) Find the number of wooden crates of size 2m x 2m x 1m that can be
stored inside the godown.
iv) Find the length of the longest rod that can be put inside the godown
in meters correct to two decimal places. (See fig below)
