length = x + 12
breadth = x
perimeter = 76
2 ( l + b )
2 ( x + 12 + x ) = 76
2 ( 2x + 12 ) = 76
4x + 24 = 76
4x = 76 - 24
4x = 52
x = 52/4
x = 13
length = 13 + 12 = 25m
breadth = 12m
area = l × b
25 × 12 = 300m^2
cost of carpeting
300 × 4 = rs1200m^2
