Length of hall = 18 m

Width of hall = 12 m

Area of floor + Area of celling = LSA

=> L ×B + L ×B = 2(L+B) H

=> 2 LB = 2(L+B) × H

=> 2 × 12 × 18 = 2 (18 + 12) H

=> H = 24×18 / 2 × 30

=> H = 4 × 18 / 10

=> H = 72 /10

=> Height of wall = 7.2 m

l = 20 cm
b = 16cm

----

=> 2(lb) = 2(l + b)h

=> 2(20)(16)) = 2(20 + 16)h

=> 640 = 72h

=> 72h = 640

=> h = 640/72

=> h = 8.89

sagar352: this is wrong
