the length of a hall is 18m and its widths is 13.5m. find the least number of square tiles, each of side 25cm, required to cover the floor of the hall ​

Answer:

Area of Hall = 18m x 13.5m

                    = 243 m^{2}

Area of tiles = 25cm x 25cm

                    = 0.25m x .025m

                    = 0.0625 m^{2}

No. of required tiles =   \frac{243}{0.0625} = \frac{2430000}{625}  = 3888

3888 tiles are required to cover the floor of hall
