so length will be x + 5

According to question ;

Area = length× breadth = x (x+5) = 84 m^2

or, x^2 + 5x -84 = 0

or, x^2 +12x - 7x - 84 = 0

or, x(x + 12) -7(x +12) = 0

or, (x+12)(x-7) = 0

so, x = 7 ........neglecting x = -12

So, breadth = 7 m

length = 7+5 = 12m
