Length of AB is 38cm

X divides it in the ratio of 9:2

Let 9:2 be 9x and 2x
∴ 9x + 2x = 38cm
11x = 38cm
x = 38/11 cm
x = 3.45cm (approx)

Now, AX = 9x
= 9 * 3.45
= 31.05cm.

∴ BX = 38 - 31.05
= 6.95cm.
