SINCE Opposite sides of a llogram are equal let the smaller side be x
.'. the other 2 sides=x+2.5
.'. 2(x+2.5+x)=51
4x+5=51
4x=46
x=23
there fore x=23meters
x+2.5=25.5 meters

Let length of 1st side be x the length of other side = 2.5+x
perimeter = sum of all sides
= x+x+2.5+x+2.5+x = 51
on solving it
x = 11.75
then 2.5+x = 14.25
