b=x
l=x+3
a=36m
A.T.Q.
x×x+3=36
x²+3x=36
x²+3x-36=0

Answer: Length = 4.7m, Breadth = 7.7m

Step-by-step explanation:

The Question is Very Easy, Just follow what I did, if it helps, then mark me as Branliest

Let the Width of the Prayer Hall be x

Then, Length = 3+x

Area = Length*Breadth

36 = (3+x)*x

36 = 3x + x²

x² + 3x - 36 = 0

Now, this Equation cannot be Solved by Middle-Splitting.

So, we have to Use the Quadratic Formula.

x = (-b ± √b²- 4ac) / 2a

In this Equation, a = 1, b = 3, and c = (-36)

Its hard to type more, use the quadratic formula, then find the value of x, you should get two answers for x, one will be -7.685 (which should not be accepted as we need positive integer only), and the other will be 4.685

take the value 4.685 and using this value write the length and breadth.

as breadth = x, length = x+3

I hope You can do further
