Solid has high forces of attraction between their particles therefore they have very less space between them. They do not move but they vibrate. Therefore solids can't flow they can be heaped

The intermolecular forces in liquids are strong enough to hold molecules together.
But not as strong enough to keep the neighboring molecules ate fixed position.
Therefore molecule can freely move.
Hence liquids can flow.
