Answer: Length = 22.5m

             Breadth= 19.5m

Step-by-step explanation:

Let, the breadth of rectangle be x metre(m)

So, the length becomes = (x+3)m

A/Q

Perimeter of rectangle = 90m

2(l+b) = 90

2{x+(x+3)} = 90

2(x+x+3) = 90

2(2x+3) = 90

4x+12 = 90

4x = 90-12

4x = 78

x = 78/4

x = 19.5m

•°• Required breadth is 19.5m

and required length is (19.5+3)m

                                    =22.5m

Let's assume the breadth as x meters

So, the length as (x + 3) meters

According to Question,

Perimeter of Rectangular plot = 90m

2(length + breadth) = 90 m

⇒ 2(x + 3 + x) = 90

⇒ 2x + 3 = 90 / 2

⇒ 2x + 3 = 45

⇒ 2x = 45 - 3

⇒ 2x = 42

⇒ x = 42 / 2

⇒ x = 21

Required Measurements -

Breadth = x = 21 m

Length = x + 3 = 21+ 3 = 24 m

Hence, the length and breadth of the rectangular plot are 24 meters and 21 meters respectively
