Step-by-step explanation:

let the length and breadth of rectangle be x and y and x>y

ATQ,

x=y+3

When length and breadth increase 2 cm

(x+2)(y+2)=xy+70

(y+5)(y+2)=(y+3)y +70

y^2+7y+10=y^2 +3y +70

7y-3y=70-10

4y=60

[y=15 cm]

then

[x=18 cm]
