Let the breadth be x cm .
Length of breadth = x+8 cm
So, 2(x+x+8)=180
= 4x+16 =180
= 4x = 164
= x = 41
Breadth = 41 cm
Length = 41+8 = 49 cm

perimeter = 2( Length + Breadth)

180cm = 2( breadth+ breadth +8cm)

180 = 2(2breadth + 8)

180 = 4breadth + 16

180-16 = 4 breadth

164cm = 4 breadth

breadth = 164cm/4

breadth = 41cm

length = 41cm + 8cm = 49cm
