let the breadth of the triangle be x and let the lenght be x + 9 and let their area be (x+9)(x) = x^2 + 9x

let the the breaght of the next rectangle be x + 3 and the lenght be x+ 9+3 = x+12

and their area be

(x+12)(x+3) = 84 + x^2 +9x

x^2 +15x + 36 = x^2 +9x +84

6x = 48

x = 8

so we can say that the leght of the first rectangle is 8+9 = 17 cm and the breadth is 8 cm
