Answer:

  • 162m² is the required area of rectangle .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

Length of a rectangle field is 18 m

Perimeter is 54

To Find :-

Area of rectangle ,A

Solution:-

According to the Question

As we have provided the length and perimeter of rectangle .So, firstly we will calculate the breadth of rectangle.

Let the breadth be b m

Now , we know that ,

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(length+breadth)

by putting the value we get

↠ 54 = 2(18+b)

↠ 54/2 = 18+b

↠ 27 = 18+b

↠27-18 = b

↠ b = 9m

Now, calculating its area

  • Area of Rectangle = Length × Breadth

Substitute the value we get

↠ Area of Rectangle = 18×9

↠ Area of Rectangle = 162 m²

  • Hence , the area of the rectangle is 162 m²

 \huge \mathfrak \pink{answer}

length \:  =  \: 18cm

perimeter \: of \: rectangle \:  =  \: 54cm

perimeter \: of \: rectangle \:  =  \: 2(l + b)

  =  >  \: 2(18 + b) \:  =  54

36 + 2b \:  =  \: 54

2b \:  =  \: 54 - 36 \:  =  \: 18

b \:  = 18 \div 2 =  9

Area of Rectangle = l×b

=> 18 × 9

=> 162m
