Step-by-step explanation:

Given

the length of a rectangle is 1/3 of its breadth,its perimeter is 64 m, find the length and breadth of the rectangle.

Given length = 1/3 of breadth

Perimeter = 2(L + B)

64 = 2 (1/3 B + B)

32 = 1/3 B + B

4/3 B  = 32

B = 32 / 4   x  3

Or B = 24 m

Given L = 1/3 B

L = 1/3 x 24

So L = 8 m

So length and breadth of the rectangle is 8 m and 24 m
